The Old City of Jerusalem is an area of approximately 0.9 KMA situated within the modern city of Jerusalem, to be the 1860s all over the urban fabric. The Old Town was included in 1981 within the World Heritage of UNESCO. In 1982, Jordan demanded its inclusion on the List of World Heritage in danger.
